Tex Watson - Hand of Evil

CHAPTER THREE TEX WATSON

From the world of darkness I did loose demons and devils in the power of scorpions to torment. -Charles Manson

Charles Denton Watson better known as Tex was a member of the Manson family when they committed their horrible crimes. Tex was considered to be Charles Manson’s right hand man. While Tex is known for being a convicted serial killer his life did not always start out that way. Tex was under the control of Mason much like the other members of the family.
Charles Watson was born in Farmersville , Texas on December 2, 1945. He was the youngest of the three children in his family. Tex got his nickname from being from the state of Texas. While living in Texas he regularly attended the Copevielle Methodist Church. Tex as an honors student in high school and was also involved in the high school athletics program. He even attended college and joined a fraternity before things took a downhill turn.
In 1967 Tex was working at the Braniff Airlines and used his free tickets to visit from friends living in Los Angeles. Once he got to LA he decided to stay. Tex joined in with the other young people and the hippy crowd. He became involved with drugs and the free spirit lifestyle of that time.
- “I did not teach Tex. I told Tex to do what you think is right and ride your own beef. All that confusion at the Ranch was from Tex. I didn’t show Tex how to burn people, someone else taught him that. Tex was trying to be Manson in his mother’s body and Tex took a knife and a gun that someone else showed him how to use. So, why was Manson at the top when Tex was the man at the top with the knife and with the gun and with the will?” - Charles Manson

Tex lived and worked in LA and met Charles Manson by chance. He was hitchhiking with Dennis Wilson who was a member of the Beach Boys. He invited Tex to come in and meet some people that were hanging out at his home. Tex started hanging out around the house often with Mason and his family. He was drawn into the lifestyle and the relationship the family had with each other. After living with the family he got more into drugs and began to lose touch with reality and those close to him.
Tex met a girl and moved in with her. For a short time he left the family. Once they broke up Tex went back to live with the Mason family at Spahn Ranch in 1969. Here he listened to Mason talk about Helter Skelter. This was going to be a race war where the blacks would rebel against the whites. Manson and his family were the chosen ones that got to live. Mason decided to help this along.
Charles Mason instructed Tex and other female members of the family to start a murder spree. The first victims were Sharon Tate who was pregnant and her friends. Within a couple of days the group was out on another killing spree. This time they murders the LaBiancas once again under the instruction of Mason. There are other murders this group was suspected of.

- “I walked with Tex, but when Tex took out his knife and went out for so and so, I said “excuse me, I gotta go to the canteen and get some ice cream.” Don’t judge me behind what Tex did. If you kill somebody, you’ve killed yourself. Because if you live by that gun and you live by that knife, and you kill by that gun and you kill by that knife, then you got no turns coming at the bitch table if it’s your turn to die from that gun and that knife.” - Charles Manson

In 1969 Tex decided to leave the family and go back to Texas. He felt like he no longer fit into his hometown. He had an urge to return to Mason but felt he would be murdered if he did. Tex was getting off the drugs when he was arrested in November 1969 for serial murder.
Tex was charged with seven counts of murder. He was convicted on all counts and sentenced to death. Once the death penalty was outlawed in California he sentence was converted to life in prison. Tex found God and became a born again Christian. From prison, he wrote several books and even got married.
Currently Charles Tex Watson is at the Mule Creek State Prison in California. He has been denied parole 13 times and at the age of 71 is still incarnated today.

  1. When is this skumbag going to croak? I personally would like to see his throat slit and his body hung upside down with a rope as he did Sharon Tate and her fetus. He can take his Born Again shit and tell his maker and see where that gets him.
